    Indian Post Office 1891/92: India 2 a. 6 p. orange-yellow postal stationery envelopes (2), each used to the stamp dealer Adolph Bauer in Erfurt, Germany, one neatly cancelled by "NEPAL" thimble datestamp (very rare used as a cancellation device (see the Corinphila 'Hellrigl' sale, lot 3054, for one of the other two examples recorded), and a further 1892 usage cancelled by poor NEPAL squared circle datestamp to the same address. Both covers mailed by Kishen Lal, the Residency Postmaster in Kathmandhu. Rare.
