    Indian Post Office 1856: ½ a. blue, a used example on 1865 cover with original contents to Calcutta tied by 'Shri' in manuscript and by newly introduced "137 / NEPAL" wreathed duplex of Kathmandu / Nepal Residency Post Office (Jan 17). Reverse with sadly illegible Tirhoot transit and Calcutta arrival in red but a rare and very early usage.
