    1841: 1 d. pink mourning envelope used in 1843 from Dublin (Aug 9) to London cancelled by Maltese Cross (Type II) in black. Readdressed to Frankfurt and mailed at Marylebone St. (Aug 11) and thence via Boulogne with red cds of transit (Aug 13) and charged '18' silvergroschen in blue manuscript upon arrival. An exceptionally early usage of the 1 d. pink envelope to an overseas destination.rnNote: The sole recorded 1 d. pink cover from Dublin with a Maltese Cross cancellation to an overseas destination.
