    1929: Western Australia Centenary 1½ d. dull scarlet, no wmk., perf. 11, the famous horizontal pair, sheet marginal at base and showing part of the "ASH" imprint, variety "Imperforate between Stamp and Margin", fresh and extremely fine, large part og. Just one strip of six of this variety was found in 1964, these are now in two pairs (one offered here) and two single examples. Illustrated in Brusden White on page 5/17.
