    Stamp Statute 1884: Stamp Statute, Essay for the 10 s. value, hand-painted composite Essay in grey and black with photographic print of the hand-drawn head inserted, on slight soiled card (66 x 96 mm.). Endorsed at base "Approved T.T. A'B, 2-2-70" in inl (T.T. A'Beckett, the Postmaster General and Commissioner of Customs). Illustrated in "The Stamps of Victoria" by Geoff Kellow RDP on page 220.
