    Typographed from Woodblocks by Samuel Calvert 1857: 6 d. orange-yellow, serpentine roulette 10 at top and serrated roulette 18-19 on three sides, a used example, marginal from left of sheet, tied to 1857 large part cover to London endorsed "By Northumberland to London, posted Oct 27, 1857" (with "Marco Polo" deleted), tied by barred numeral "1" obliterator of Melbourne. Circular "FALMOUTH / SHIP LETTER" datestamp (Feb 9, 1858) in black (Robertson S9) below the adhesive and on reverse of landing and notation of receipt in manuscript (Feb 10). Lower flap of cover missing but a very rare stamp on letter.rn
