    1859 (Sept 23): Cover from Cartagena to General Tomas de Mosquera, Popayan carried privately and forwarded with oval "ENCAMINADA POR / HURTADO : HERMANOS / PANAMÁ" in red. Eventually placed into the postal system, prepaid with fine oval framed "BUENAVENTURA / FRANCA" in red. Reverse with full docketing of sending and arrival in Popayan (Oct 16).
