    1859 (Sept): Unpaid manifest for a cattle fair, sent from Bologna to Bazzano, taxed inside with '½' bajoccho due, bearing outside as due ½ baj. 'giallo paglia', a fine and fresh single example with good colour and large even margins all round, tied by Papal-style grill obliterator. A clear straight-line BAZZANO handstamp was struck alongside. A most interesting item showing the usage of the Romagna adhesives as due, signed Emilio Diena; A. Bolaffi; certs. A. Diena (1968), E. Diena (1983) Sassone = € 3'250.
