1850: Carta a mano 15 c. red type III with good to large margins all round, tied by two line "S.M. MADDALENA 14 OTT." (1854) datestamp to cover to Ferrarra, Papal States, reverse with arrival datestamp of the next day. Obverse shows a good strike of "Ferrara / Netta Fuori / e Dentro" fumigation handstamp. The cover was slitted twice and fumigated. A rare cleaned item in the rayon limitrophe between Venetia and the Papal States, with a distance between the offices below 10 miles.
