    1857: 10 k. brown & blue imperforate, plate 1, showing variety 'Open 0' at lower left value tablet (SC 1 Kг), a used example with large even margins all round, cancelled by part boxed FRANCO handstamp struck in blue, presumably from  Levant port. Light corner fold in the margin at lower right, nevertheless a rare example with this cancellation. SC = $ 1’300 for the variety & $ 2’500-3’000 for a blue cancellation.
