Entire letter from beseiged Paris to Essai, Orne, the (20 centime) adhesive floated off by immersion in sea water, with 'Paris / Pl. de la Madeleine' despatch cds (Nov 23 / levée 5). Framed 'P.P.' to denote due should not be charged, with faint arrival cds on reverse. Most attractive and scarce.
