    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857/59: 5 d. chestnut, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used example of good colour, ample to large margins all round with portion of adjoining stamp at left, used on 1859 'Asia Rate' cover to Aden tied by barred obliterator in black. Written to the care of the P&O Agent in Aden with recipient's name re-written; backstamped "GALLE / STEAMER LETTER" in red (Dec 17) with 'Steamer Point' arrival adjacent in red. A most unusual destination.
