    Recess by Perkins Bacon on white paper 1857: 1 d. deep turquoise-blue, wmk. Star, imperforate on white paper, a used example with large margins on three sides and just shaved at lower left, with vertical marginal watermark line at left, variety "Double Impression", lightly cancelled in black.
