1872: Tampico District 12 c. blue and marginal pair of 25 c. red (40-73), used on 26 June 1873 cover to Bordeaux tied by oval "FRANCO EN / TAMPICO" in black (Schatzkes fig. 1582). Carried by RMSP "Corsica" to St. Thomas and from there by the "Elbe" to London where "GB / 1F 60c." accountancy marking applied in black.
