Antilles 1857: Cuba ½ r. blue, a single example with close to large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at top, used on 1862 entire letter from Santiago de Cuba (Feb 1) via Havana to Bordeaux tied by network handstamp in black. British P.O. St. Thomas cds (Feb 28) on reverse via London where struck with "GB / 1F 60c." accountancy handstamp (March 13) and charged at double rate on arrival (over 7½ grams) with handstruck '16' décimes due in black: Tariff of 1 Jan 1857.
