    1850: 90 r. black, three single examples, margins close to predominantly large all round, used with 1866 Dom Pedro 100 r. green on 1870 cover from Petropolis (June 6) to Marseille. Underpaid for double rate of 560 reis, and struck with oval framed "INSUFFICIENTE" handstamp in red. "BRESIL / CALAIS" entry marking in blue (July 23) and charged '16' décimes due upon delivery.
