1883: Cover sent stampless to Sury-Le-Comte with full original contents, with "Guadeloupe / Basse Terre" despatch cds (Nov 23) and reverse showing fine circular "LIGNE B / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp (Nov 29) carried on Paquebot "Ville de Paris". Paris cds in blue (Dec 15) and Sury-Le-Comte arrival cds on reverse, taxed in Paris with Duval 1881 Postage Due 10 c. black (2) and 30 c., readdressed and taxed again on re-arrival with 10 c. black and 40 c. black (Maury T15+T18+T19).
