'cobalto scuro' carta di Napoli, from plate I showing the characteristic retouche of position 57 in the 'G' of 'GR.', a fresh and fine example with good to huge margins all round, tied to cover by 'ferro di cavallo' handstamp, oval MAZZARA despatch handstamp in red and "PALERMO ARRIVA 30 MAR. 59" arrival cds alongside. Appealing usage of a rare shade in combination with this retouche. Signed Raybaudi with shade and retouche indication Sassone = € 3'500+.
