    1867 (Sept): 80 c. 'rosa lilliaceo', a fine and fresh adhesive with good margins, sheet margin at left, tied by trattini lozenge to 1869 entire letter from Rome to Adria with indistinct despatch cds and "P.D." handstamp alongside. Reverse with Rovigo transit and Adria arrival (Jan 6) cds's. Horizontal and vertical file folds well away from the adhesive, nevertheless a most interesting quadruple rate usage from the Papal States to Italy. Signed A. Diena & Golinelli; cert. E.
