    Shipmail to Sicily 1858: 10 gr. 'rosa lilliaceo', plate I in combination with 1 gr. dark rose, plate I, two fresh and fine adhesives, large to huge margined, cancelled by boxed ANNULLATO with oval FRANCA and two-line "MES.A / 10 AGOSo" handstamps, both added in black alongside upon arrival in Messina, on entire letter to Siracusa, endorsed "Col Postale Francese". Reverse with Napoli despatch (Aug 9, 1858) datestamp in red. Most attractive, the franking paying exactly the Shipmail's rate for one sheet with French vessel to Sicily. Signed Grioni, Bolaffi, A.
