    1859: 5 gr. carmine-rose, a fresh and fine adhesive from plate II, large to huge margined in an intense shade, tied by boxed ANNULLATO of Napoli with framed "P.D." alongside on cover directed to Firenze. Reverse with Napoli despatch (Nov 17, 1860) and arrival (Nov, 22) datestamps. The postage of 5 grana paid approximately 20 Italian centesimi, the rate to the other parts of the evolving Kingdom of Italy Sassone = € 1'050.
