    1849: Entire letter from Thann to Belfort bearing Cérès 20 c. black on white paper, a fresh example with good to large margins, tied by clear grille. At left the type 14 "THANN (66) 6 DEC. 1849" cds. Reverse with arrival cds of the next day. The type 14 Thann cds is a rare postmark, signed Calves & Goebel.
