    1844 (May 31): Entire letter from Bogotá to Manuel Mosquera, the Chargé d'Affaires of New Granada in London; struck on despatch with oval framed "BOGOTÁ / FRANCA." and "3" rate handstamp in red and, in transit with CARTHAGENA fleuron handstamp in red. Reverse with fine KINGSTON / JAMAICA transit cds (June 25) in black and London arrival (Aug 6) where charged '2/3d.' to pay in manuscript. Fine strikes and a rare entire.
