    1844c.: Large part entire letter to Lima at double rate, endorsed 'Por via di Quito' struck on despatch with oval "BOGOTÁ / FRANCA." and "5" handstamps in red alongside scarce italic "Tarde y Cargada" (Late Fee) handstamp. Readdressed on arrival in Lima to Valparaiso and struck on arrival with straight line ULTRAMAR and VALPARAISO handstamps in red and rated '2' and '3' reales due respectively. A charming and rare usage.
