    1886: 50 r. red on green postal stationery letter-card (H&G A10) to Gand, Belgium up-rated with 1885 50 r. blue and 100 r. lilac tied by fine strikes of DIRECCION GRAL DOS CORREIOS Arms handstamps in black. Carried on the French Paquebot 'Gironde' and struck with circular "RIO-JANEIRO / PAQ. FR. J. No. 3" datetsamp (Salles fig. 1079) in black (July 6). Gand arrival cds (July 24) on reverse of a charming usage.
