    1865/73: Great Britain 4 d. vermilion, pl. 9, two matching 1868 covers from same correspondence to Genova, each with adhesive tied by fine "MALTA / A25" duplex, one fully paid with "2¾" handstamp in red; the other found to be double weight and struck with "INSUFFICIENTLY PAID" in black. A fine pair.
