    1865: 1/- green plate 4, lettered 'RI' as single franking on highly attractive advertising cover from "MANCHESTER" via "BOSTON" to "CAMBRIDGE" Mass. The stamp is cancelled by duplex '498' the large print on the front is advertising 'safe sheep dip'. Attractive letter with the 1/- transatlantic rate.
