    1941 (Dec 1): Restoration of Bessarabia & Bucovina and Winter Relief Fund, the sets of sixteen and of nine complete, as sent to the UPU in horizontal or vertical strips of three and forwarded on to the Mauritanian Post Office where kept as examples of new issues; all applied to near complete part page (270 x 430 mm.) and each security handstamped with three line "SPÉCIMEN / COLLECTION / MAURITANIE" cachets in rose-red. All are unique. A spectacular page.
