    British P.O. 1871 (Aug 9): Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 140, 1865 4 d. vermilion pl. 11 and 2 s. blue, used on 1872 entire letter from Guayaquil to Barcelona, Spain, Puig correspondence, tied by two strikes of the "C41" obliterator with reverse showing double arc 'Guayaquil' datestamp (fEB 12) in black. Three line dated 'PANAMA / TRANSIT' (Feb 20) in black and 'London / Paid' cds (March 14), circular 'PD' in red. Manuscript '2' (20 c.) in red due upon delivery in Barcelona with arrival verso. The reverse with some aging as exposed to water not affecting the frontal appearance. A charming and extremely scarce three colour franking. Cert.
