    1881/84: 5 pa. lilac & bluish lilac, perf. 11½, used on 1884 local mouirning envelope tied by circular barred handstamp in blue. Bilingual 'Philippople' datestamp alongside (June 14,1884) and triangular "Plovdiv City Post" (with Posthorn) handstamp in blue below. Reverse with collector's manuscript description. An unusual usage of a scarce stamp on letter. Opinion Todd (2014).
