    1887: Cover from Plovdiv to Constantinople sent stampless with 'T' marking, as the Bulgarian post was not recognized by the Ottoman P.O., with additional large size 'T' marking applied on arrival. Reverse with Turkey Empire 1 pi. blue on brown (Mi. 47) tied by bilingual 'Stamboul' datestamp in blue. Sensibly opened for display, a scarce usage. Opinion Todd (2015).
