    1850 (June 20): Entire letter from Maccagno to Milano, franked by 1850 Carta a mano 15 c. red from the first print run, a fresh and fine single adhesive with large margins and vibrant colour, tied by clear two line "MACCAGNO / 20 GIU." datestamp in black (Sassone 12 punti), reverse with Milano arrival cds from the same day. An entire of utmost attractiveness with a very rare cancellation, signed Emilio Diena, Colla & Ferchenbauer Sassone = € 7'000 for the cancellation + € 675 for a usage on June 20, 1850.rnProvenance: Collection Dr. Anton & Elisabeth Jerger, Corinphila sale 138 (Nov. 2003), lot 1448.
