    Luogotenenza, 1946 (March 9): Envelope from Milano to Genova, bearing a 'gemelli' mixed franking of 1945 Emissione die Roma 2 l. carmine and 1945/46 Emissione de Novara 2 l. carmine, tied by Milano machine datestamp in black. The Novara definitives without watermark at left was attached with glue, both adhesives paid the correct 4 lire letter rate in the tariff of February 1946. Cert. E. Diena (1990).
