    1923 (Dec 22): Registered Cover front from Porto Maurizio to Genova, bearing 1923/27 overprinted definitive 50 c. on 55 c. violet-brown in a horizontal pair showing variety: inverted overprint, tied by PORTO MAURIZIO cds in black, matching registration label alongside. From this desirable variety only three detached stamps, this front, and a cover are known. Certs. E.
