    1885 (Aug 18): Very heavy Registered Lettersheet from Messina to Mistretta, formerly including Court papers, the envelope bearing a vertical pair and a strip of five, both lower marginal of the 50 c. violet, tied by '16' barred obliterator with matching MESSINA despatch cds and registration alongside. Reverse with MISTRETTA arrival cds (Aug 20). A formerly 16fold rate cover which needed a payment of 320 c. plus 30 c. registration fee.
