    1878 (Sept 20): Envelope from Incisa Belbo to Gibraltar, bearing 1866 Torino printing 30 c. brown, a fine and fresh adhesive, tied by '1179' numeral handstamp in black, Gibraltar arrival cds (Sept 26) alongside. Reverse with Milano and Alessandria Railway cds's. Directed to a pupil of the marine school on board of the frigate 'Vittorio Emanuele' on its training tour, a scarce destination.
