    1864 (June 3): Lettersheet from Napoli to Nizza, endorsed "Via Genova affranchie", bearing 1863 DLR 40 c. rose-carmine, tied in transit by "LIVORNO / VIA DI MARE" handstamp, "LIVORNO / UFFICIO DEL PORTO / 4. GIU. 62" cds in black, "P.D." handstamp in black and French "ITALIE MENTON" entry cds in red alongside. Reverse with Nizza arrival cds. An interesting Shipmail cover, intended to make its way on the Mediterranean, but which was transported presumably overland from Livorno to its destination.
