    Regno, usage of Sardinian adhesives 1863 (Feb 24): Entire letter from Alessandria to Chambery, Savoie, bearing Sardinia IV. emission 40 c. in the rare shade 'rosa chiaro', a superb adhesive with parts of the lower neighbouring stamp, tied by ALESSANDRIA cds in black. "P.D." handstamp and French "ITALIE AMB M. CENIS" entry cds, both in red alongside. Reverse with Torino transit and Chambery arrival cds's in black. An appealing usage with this rare shade.
