    Outgoing to Egypt 1869 (Feb 25): Prepaid cover from the Athens to Alexandria, bearing Cleaned Plates Printing 40 l. grey-mauve on blue, a fine and fresh adhesive with fair to large margins all round and fresh colour, Athens despatch cds in black and French boxed PD handstamp in red alongside. Reverse with Piraeus transit cds (Feb 25). An interesting and appealing cover. Signed Holcombe Hellas 28.
