    RMSP / PSNC 1861: Cover from Barcelona to Valparaiso, Chile endorsed "via de Inglaterra", franked at five times rate with 1860/61 2 r. lilac on pale lilac, three vertical pairs and a block of four, mainly ample to large margins all round and of fine colour, tied by circular "2" numerals and by 'Barcelona' despatch cds (March 28) in black. 'London / Paid' transit cds (March 30) on obverse and reverse with La Junquera transit. Carried on the Steamer "La Plata" from Southampton to St. Thomas, thence on the "Tamar" to Colon and PSNC vessel to Valparaiso, where taxed "65" centavos handstamped due to pay in red.
