    RMSP & PSNC 1846: Entire letter from Paris to Lima, Peru endorsed "Par Southampton and Panama", prepaid '36' décimes in manuscript, struck with Paris cds (Dec 14) and 'PD' in red. Carried on the RMSP "Tweed" to Grenada and the "Thames" to Chagres. Struck with circular "PANAMA / *" Consular datestamp in red (Jan 25, 1843 - erroneous year date), thence from Panama on the PSNC "Ecuador" to Callao with internal docketing of receipt (Feb 6, 1847). Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 184. A fine and rare entire.
