    Messageries Impériales 1866: Cover from Bogotá to Paris franked by 1865 10 c. violet tied by oval framed BOGOTÁ handstamp in black. Struck with octagonal French Consular "STE. MARTHE" datestamp (Aug 4) in black (Salles fig. 1376) and reverse with circular "LIGNE-A / PAQ. FR. No. 3" datestamp of the same day (Salles fig. 1401). Carried on the Paquebot "Louisiane" to St. Nazaire with Paris arrival cds (Sept 4) and charged '10' décimes to pay. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 145. A fine and rare cover.
