    Messageries Impériales 1875 (Sept 27): Cover from Montevideo to London endorsed "via Bordeaux", franked by Uruguay 1866 5 c. blue, perf. in a vertical pair, tied by small Montevideo cds in black with octagonal "MONTEVIDEO / PAQ. FR. J No. 4" datestamp (Sept 27) in black (Salles fig.1076). London Foreign Branch cds on obverse (Oct 30) of arrival and charged "1/-" due in manuscript. Cover a tad aged but scarce. Signed E.J.
