    RMSP 1859 (Jan 27): Cover from Buenos Ayres to Bayonne franked by 1858 'Barquitos' 1 p. brown tied by bold 'ponchitos' obliterator in black. Reverse with "CORREOS / BUENOS AIRES" cds (Jan 27), passed to British P.O. with BUENOS AYRES cds in blue. Carried on the "Camilla" to Rio and thence on the "Tamar", with London transit and struck there with "GB / 1F 60c.' accountancy marking in black. Calais transit on obverse (March 5), re-weighed on arrival in France and marked "16" (grams) for triple weight and charged '24' décimes handstruck in black. Some overall stains reduced and splits but just 8 'Barquitos' covers are known mailed abroad. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 103. Rare. Cert.
