    Spanish Colonial Period 1767 (Nov 21): Entire letter to Domingos Basabilbaso, Manager of the Buenos Aires Branch of the "Empresa Estatal de los Correos Maritimos", struck on obverse with condensed "ESPAÑA" handstamp in red and "3 DE PLATA" handstamps in red applied in Cadiz. Letter docketed internally on arrival "Cartagena de Indias Abril 1768". Extraordinarily rare - the second earliest recorded mail after the 1764 reorganisation of the Postal Regulations.
