    1887 (Jan 1): 2½ d. purple on blued, an unused strip of three, marginal from top of sheet, variety "Imperforate between Stamp and Margin", positions 4-6 on the sole top row known with this variety (this strip adjoining the 'Maximus' (1970) strip of three, positions 7-9) and Chartwell (2012) positions 10-12, central stamp with vertical crease otherwise of superb colour and full unmounted og.
