    1841: 1 d. red-brown on blued paper, lettered DC, a used example with large margins all round and showing portion of adjoining stamp at base, on 1847 cover from Enniscorthy, Wexford to Dublin, neatly tied by Irish "212" numeral obliterator in blue. Reverse with Enniscorthy double arc despatch cds in blue (Jan 13) and Dublin arrival (Jan 14) in red. File fold away from the the fine adhesive, an attractive cover Gi B1xb = £ 650.
