    Greenock 1841: 2 d. blue on blued paper, pl. 3, lettered BL, a used example with good even margins all round, applied just over edge of 1844 cover from Greenock to Edinburgh, neatly tied by superb strike of distinctive GREENOCK Maltese Cross in black. Reverse with Greenock despatch datestamp (Feb 20) in red and Edinburgh arrival cds (Feb 21). A scarce and attractive cover Gi E1um = £ 2`000.
