    1879 (Feb 3): Great Britain 1864/79 1 d. red pl. 195 and 1876/79 2½ d. rosy mauve pl. 13 used on 1879 cover from Malta to London each tied by horizontal "MALTA / A25" duplex (Feb 3). Struck at right with the rare circular "F.L." in black - the transposed LATE FEE marking (unlisted by Parmenter & Gordon) borne out by the additional 1 d. paid above the normal UPU rate.
