    1867/80: 10 d. deep red-brown, plate 1, wmk. Spray, a vertical pair used on 1870 double rate (over ½ ounce, under 1 oz.) cover endorsed 'via Marseilles' to Dunedin, New Zealand tied by "Glasgow / 159" duplexes in black (May 19). Reverse with London transit cds (May 20) and "Dunedin / Otago" arrival cds (July 14). Envelope with minor edge wear but a scarce franking.
